interesting because he could have easily been one of the richest people on the planet today.
Ron was one of the original founders of Apple Inc. in 1976. The now multi-billion-dollar giant technology company was founded back then by Ron Wayne, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Ron developed the first partnership agreements, created the original Apple logo and wrote the first manual for the Apple 1 computer. All was great until he literally chickened out of the business within the first two weeks. Not many can explain his actions but as Ron himself says, it had something to do with his previously failed business. On top of that he was feeling uncertain about working with “whirlwinds” like Jobs and Wozniak. He had a 10% share of Apple Inc. and relinquished his stock for little over $800.
That same stock nowadays would equal more than a $22 billion fortune. Nevertheless, Mr. Wayne does not regret his decision-making because he believes it was the best he could have done with the very little information available to him back then.
